We get this question a lot and we are proud to say yes! All ECCB Outdoor furniture is commercial-grade for restaurant patios, hotels, clubs, pools, and any other business in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
What makes furniture commercial-grade?
The biggest difference between residential and commercial furniture is in the construction. Commercial furniture is built withstand the daily wear and tear of patrons using it, normally these pieces are made of stronger materials than a residential equivalent. And although the majority of our customers are buying for their home, we also have many businesses wanting Adirondack chairs, deep seating, dining furniture, and more for their outdoor areas. So we are proud to offer this high standard to both of our customer groups!
What are some of the features of poly lumber furniture that lend itself to being commercial-grade?
- Bulkier frame – Most of our furniture features a 1” poly thickness minimum. This creates a heavier frame that can stand up to routine use, unlike plastic resin patio furniture.
- Easy to clean – Soap and water are all you really need to clean up any spills! If anything marks occur on the poly lumber, you can also take a Magic Eraser to it and buff them out.
- Stainless steel hardware – We use #316 stainless steel hardware in all of our poly lumber furniture. This kind of hardware is marine-grade, corrosion-resistant, and durable, making it the perfect hardware for our long-lasting poly lumber furniture!
- Poly lumber material – The poly lumber we use is extremely durable, strong, and solid throughout, an ideal material to stand up to more frequent use. This material does not absorb moisture nor does it need any extra finishing or staining in its lifetime.
